World Pharmacist Day 2026 – Promoting Community Health & Wellness

The School of Pharmacy, Anjuman-I-Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus (AIKTC), celebrated World Pharmacist Day 2026 through a series of community health initiatives aimed at promoting healthcare awareness, preventive care and social responsibility.

As part of the celebration, various health camps were organised, including dermatology, eye care, blood donation, physiotherapy and women’s health camps. These initiatives provided health consultations, basic screenings, expert guidance and opportunities for community members to learn about better healthcare practices.

Through these outreach activities, pharmacy students gained valuable hands-on experience in community healthcare while contributing to public well-being. The celebration highlighted the important role of pharmacists in healthcare delivery, health education and building a healthier society.

The initiative reflected AIKTC’s commitment to experiential learning, community engagement and the development of socially responsible healthcare professionals.
